Business Model

Baraka Telecom plays the role of catalyst between Mobile Network Operators and MVNOs. We provide one competent point of contact between the host network owner and MVNOs serving the end user market.

We reduce the risk level for both the Mobile Network Operator and the MVNOs by lowering break even volumes, offer a short time to market and Cost Effective Services through economies of scale. These services are offered in an ASP model and hosted by Baraka Telecom.

The 2 business models where we can support both the MNOs and MVNOs are:

1. MVNE Service Provider Model

In an MVNE SP Model,

The MVNE platform is hosted by Baraka Telecom and manage the services for MVNOs
The MVNOs are responsible for the marketing, sales and channel management
The MVNOs enters a contractual agreement with the host network operator for the commercial airtime and with Baraka Telecom for the MVNE hosted technology platform and services
The Airtime and services payments are managed separately
2. Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA) Model

In an MVNA Model,

Baraka Telecom will have a wholesale agreement with the host network operator and resells the traffic to MVNOs hosted on the platform
MVNOs are responsible only for the front-office operations of their mobile businesses
